In the Studio

I’ve always been drawn to wild places. I seek out the quiet edges where light shifts, feathers settle, and the world slows down just enough to notice.

My work begins with observation - a splash of fins, wind moving through leaves, a moment of stillness held in time. I’m drawn to the small, often overlooked encounters that remind us we are part of nature, not separate from it.

Through painting, I explore color, texture, and presence. Each piece is an invitation to slow down, and bring a sense of calm, curiosity, and connection into the spaces we live in every day.

I believe art can be both grounding and expansive. A window into the wild. A reminder of where we belong.

Originally from Cape Cod, my connection to wild places began along the Atlantic shoreline. Shaped by salt marshes, shifting tides, and coastal light, that early landscape continues to influence how I see and paint today. Now based in San Diego, I draw inspiration from wild spaces everywhere - from coastlines to desert trails, from open water to forest canopy - and the quiet moments they offer.
